Purchase Perpetual Flash Professional CS6
Adobe Flash Professional CS6 is a powerful application that can be used to create a variety of content, including vector-based graphics, animations, and rich Internet applications (RIAs). If you are looking for a tool that will allow you to easily create complex animations and add interactivity to your applications, then Adobe Flash Professional CS6 is definitely worth considering.
As of December 2020, Adobe will no longer be releasing security updates or providing technical support for Adobe Flash Professional CS6. This decision was made in order to focus engineering resources on more modern technologies. Flash Professional was first released in 2012, and the web has changed a lot since then! With new standards like HTML5, more powerful mobile devices, and higher quality video, it’s time to say goodbye to Flash Professional CS6.
We know that some of you may still be using CS6, and this fact may come as a surprise. We want to ensure you have all the options you need to use Flash Professional or upgrade to another Adobe product.
1) What does this mean for me?
If you’re still using Flash Professional CS6, you can continue using it, but Adobe will no longer release security updates or provide technical support. We recommend upgrading to the latest version of Flash Professional, which is included in Creative Cloud. If you’re not a Creative Cloud member, you can join here.
2) Why is Adobe doing this?
Over the past few years, there have been major advances in web technology with new standards like HTML5, more powerful mobile devices, and higher quality video. As a result, we’ve seen a decrease in the use of Flash Player, especially for web content.
3) Which products should I use instead?
There are a few different options depending on your needs:
If you want to create interactive content for websites or apps: try Adobe Animate CC, previously known as Adobe Flash CC. It’s included with
Creative Cloud, so you can always access the latest features and advances.
If you want an easy way to create eLearning content or develop rich internet applications (RIAs): try Captivate 2019 release (13th version), which is also part of Creative Cloud membership. You can easily author responsive eLearning experiences and output to any screen size without writing a single line of code!
